Tank Universal
Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals
Trapped Dead
Crash Time 2
Chains
Penguins Arena: Sedna's World
Holy Avatar vs Maidens of the Dead

but it looks like Groupees do not provide direct DRM free links for them.

However, Holy Avatar is Desura, and is delivered DRM free through them. And I think that the majority is of Steam games are delivered DRM free through Steam also (so I guess some of this depends on your own definition of "DRM Free")

keeveek: Do not buy The Chosen aka Frater aka the worst Diablo clone in the history of gaming.

amok: What's so bad about it?

The user reviews on GG are not suggesting anything bad as such
I can't give you any big specifics, because I fell asleep pretty early in game, but the reviews were rather bad. In Poland the game even premiered in a gaming magazine, so it kinda tells something about it's quality.

but I guess some might enjoy this one. I liked Loki much more.

Well, I got it now anyway :)

Loki is not bad at all, but I do like hack'n'slash games, so I am biased.

Will give Chosen a spin later tonight and see if I have any first impressions.
Last year I bought nearly all the Meridian 4 game for about £5 in the Steam Christmas sale. So now there is no chance in hell I will ever finish my backlog.

All I have to say is this. Space Trader; Merchant Marine is actually pretty good considering I looks and feels like some made over a week with a tiny budget. It's a sort-of FPS/Turn-based-strategy hybrid. Not too hard, nice music. It's a pleasant time waster.

Chrome on the other hand is the worst FPS I've ever played. It's difficulty is horrendously unbalanced (Sniper Rifle is unbeatable, all the other guns are useless), graphics and voice acting are a joke (And I don't even normally care about graphics), getting the thing to run is an uphill struggle, and when played it it had a glitch that reset the key bindings and video resolution every time I turned the game off.
I payed almost nothing for this game and still feel ripped-off (particular when Space Trader is so much better) I beg you people, don't buy it.

Thank you.

My personal definition is that the game can be downloaded and saved onto my computer. If the downloaded installer works in a bunker 100miles under ground without an internet connection then I consider it DRM free. If I need to connect to the site I got the game from then it has DRM.

After figuring out how to deal with the stupid GG callback, I am a little more willing to buy the odd DRM free game from them, and I think that the Desura for Holy Avatar is DRM free. After looking around their site a little it appears to me at first glance that quite a large number of their games are DRM free (I could be wrong).
Wow, the Stalin Subway games!

I almost traded for them a while back since they have that amazing European budget game look to them. I'm definitely grabbing those, I'm not interested in most of the other stuff (or I already have it.)

You are correct. The majority of games on Desura are DRM free.

By your definition, then there are also quite a lot DRM free games on Steam (I have the same definition). The Steam DRM is not the actual client, but CEG. I am not sure how many of these are tied in with CEG or not...

Ah dang, I had gotten excited by the selection, but now I see from the posts here that many of these aren't DRM-free. What a shame. I've got two of the DRM-free titles already, so I'll have to see if I scrape together enough of the others to make it worthwhile. Thanks for the posts about what to check out and what to avoid, as most of these titles are unknowns to me.

EDIT: Well fook, hardly anything is DRM-free, only one title I'd actually buy. Will probably buy some cruft just to get Rhiannon on the cheap. What a sad bundle though, especially when many of the appealing titles are just as easily available in DRM-free form.

Cool. My memory may be biased, becuase I played it shrotly after premiere when it got bad reviews and I was few years younger.

Maybe it's not as bad as I think.

And yeah, Loki was cool.
What is the Groupees key unbundling policy? Didn't see anything in the FAQ about it, so if they don't care what you do with them, I might pick up some gifts for folks in the process.

They definitely don't care what you do with them.

They do not have any official policy. It is only Humble and Indie Royale who do.
Nice, I'll have to prowl the board then and gather folks' wishlists before I buy.
I'm only interested in the Stalin Subway series. DRM free, nice. Tank Universal is brilliant but I bought it ages ago from Steam.
