Was the release date of the mystery game given then? I don't see it anywhere. Did I overlook it?

In terms of adding any game as a bonus - especially with all the mystery and hype surrounding this bonus - the PR alone is worth the price of admission.

Consider how many hundreds of thousands of gamers there are in the world - to sell 20-30K at a deep discount is a drop in the bucket if this works to promote a game.

Anyway, just my two cents on why a really good game would not be in the $5 tier but be added as a bonus ;-) Plus it helps Groupees climb the bundle ladder when peeps start talking about the cool game they got as a bonus in a Groupees bundle - it's a win/win for them and the dev.

I've seen it mentioned, but I don't know how any of the hints fit. I've heard stars = light, but that's about it..

You and me both! I keep swearing to myself that I'll just be patient and wait until this mystery game is announced but like a sore tooth, I keep coming back for more clues.

Maybe Shadow Warrior? It got lately released on steam and the developer wanted to promote the upcoming remake by a give-away the next day on facebook, which would fit with the release date from groupees. Yeah, pure speculation again, so don‘t be shocked ;-)
