The quote was from a post by Groupees on Steamgifts, I think. They were talking about the upcoming Frogwares bundle. Info can be found here:

Cool! Thanks, this looks like a nice charity and a great bundle ;-)
Clue 1: Steam Game, Meta of 70 or More
Clue 2: Light

If it is "Faster Than Light", aww bummer... But if it is "Torchlight II" that would be awesome! (:P)

How would that be a bummer? ;)

Highly doubt its Faster Than Light though, the hint would be too obvious, and I don't think it's meant to be obvious.

Because I don't have the patience to play strategy games... (I'm too bad for those :P)

FTL would be a feature game not bonus
Not trying to be a negative Nosferatu, but this bundle is full of mediocre titles that I may or may not like (such as Drakensang, Blood Bowl, & Patrician IV). The only game I'm really interested in is Eleusis, which is a short, atmospheric adventure game. If they pulled out something like Faster Than Light or Primordia, I would be pretty stoked. Torchlight 2..not so much since I already have it.
So my new guess is Starseed Pilgrim. There's an "r" in the title, and you're trying to escape the spread of darkness in the game (there's light in it). The circles in the artwork could be seeds.

Would be a surprise.
Most people haven't heard of it (was aware of it for a few months before i managed to get a trade for it...unfortunately a steam copy..ugh)
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, maybe?

dr.schliemann: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, maybe?
Has to be released within 6 months, and has to be an "indie" game.
I don't think Starseed would be a title that would get people to buy the bundle though. Jonny's mentioned it would a headline title if it weren't the last bonus for this bundle, Starseed at $6 and very simplistic-looking, doesn't seem to be what he's describing.

He said the game was originally going to be in the $1 tier, Starseed fits that IMO. I think it is a headline title for an indie game.. Got good reviews and I've heard quite a few people talk about it. Sure, it's not super popular or anything but it's enough to make me wanna buy the bundle for a dollar, and the price ($5.99) fits the $1 tier.

But really, it's hard to take anything Jonny says seriously.. he said Blood Bowl was the most surprising game in this bundle.. so yeah..

Jonny is a salesman.Thats his job. To hype up the products. :P. 86% on Metacritic. released on steam a month or two back. 'R" has that sound feeling when u say the word and your explanation about the light bit...hmm heavy favorite?

Were those some kind of clues at some point? (currently, they are not mentioned in the list of clues...)
