I'm not really big on adventure / story games. The only ones I've ever really gotten into were Shadow of Destiny (Memories) and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream but this looks pretty interesting.

Written by Jane Jensen who also wrote Gabriel Knight and I'm also wondering if she's the author that wrote that classic 'brain in a vat' story.
the premise seems somewhat interesting

its out right now for pc and 360, I played the demo and enjoyed it, will most likely check out the full game someday soon
I've been playing through this lately; I'm in chapter five now and so far, it's been great. Jane Jensen hasn't forgotten anything of her craft. There are quite a few echoes of GK and some of its narrative principles, but it's still quite original, and of course expertly written and constructed. Also, the 2D art is absolutely beautiful.

On the gaming side, it's also very friendly towards newcomers to the genre. The puzzles are not very difficult, but thankfully not too primitive, either. Which means I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone at least vaguely interested.
