Piemaster: Breaking News: Some assholes thought it would be a great idea to make a SECOND GODDAMN GOG GROUP ON MOTHERFUCKING STEAM.

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/gogcom

^WTF IS THIS BULLSHIT^

Gentlemen, you do know this wholeheartedly means absolute civil war. I can clearly see it, noble old game fans battling viciously against Alan Wake newbies.

FUCK THIS!

Glory to the one true GOG.com Steam Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/goodoldgames

I am from Turkey.

David_Rose: Never really understood the idea of having a GOG group on Steam. It's kinda like having an AA meeting in a brewery.

JTD121: Quite an apt analogy.
More like a meeting of claustrophobics in an elevator. ;)

EDIT: Although I think Hesusio's analogy is the most fitting.

That reminds me of the schism of the catholic church after luther proclaimed his thesis.

That 30 threads war will be bloody ....

Hesusio: I'd say it's more like eating KFC in a McDonalds.
McDonalds is like dwarf bread. It's amazing what you'd be willing to eat if the alternative is dwarf bread.

I wish that had occurred to me when I was down south. I probably could have gotten away with doing that.

Foxhack: Well I just left a message. :p

Edit: Well whoever owns that group is from Turkey. And has way too many games.

So who in this forum is from Turkey? Round 'em up, WE WANT ANSWERS
Mmmm, turkey....
The group owner deleted the comments of those of us who denounced them.

Clearly they are afraid of the one true group.

I just got an invite to that group. (I thought I'd be banned after the comment I left...)

I'm not joining it, partly because the owner hasn't said who he is. I'd rather not join until he actually reveals himself as a member of this forum and not just some random person.

But my response to Cogadh is still there, so it's still obvious they've deleted comments. ;)

I'm Malkovich (formerly Tea). I tried to take it over after DukeNico had other commitments, but then I also had other commitments and couldn't really afford to keep updating the group.

I'm not the owner of the group, though. I won't pronounce it dead, I'll just say it hasn't been updated for a while.

Needless to say, I'm not joining the new group because I see little value in the Steam community features now. Evolve handles my chat and it's not like I need to arrange anything with anyone anymore.
So, I googled that "GOG" account's SteamID code ( 76561198055950771 ) and I got this off of Google Cache. (See attached picture.)

Yeah, there's no way in hell I'm joining now. This seems way too fishy to me.
