Does anybody know if the free download for this (from Rockstars site) works on Windows Vista?

I've had it on Steam since I got the full GTA package and it works fine on Vista, but I'm not sure about the standalone version. Could try it later, though.
EDIT: I can't even get it to install. I don't know, might just be me.

I'm running Vista on a laptop also, but the installer won't even run. It doesn't matter that much because I have the Steam version, though.

Yeah, it's off, but like I said, it doesn't matter.
