Im looking to buy my first ever tablet and the Nexus 7 seems like a decent one with a decent price i was just wondering if it would be possible to play games from here on it at all?

(probly a really stupid question but never had a tablet before)

With a bit of tinkering and Dosbox Turbo, you should be okay with quite a lot of them I would think.
This been on my mind as well. Am about narrowed down to the Nexus 7 or 10. Looking to cut power consumption and use the tablet as main entertainment device. Can power a days entertainment and some work from a small backpackers solar panel. GOG games on the tablet would really cap this off well.
With ScummVM, Dosbox Turbo, and GemRB and a little work you can get a lot to work.
Are other tablets more limiting in what users can do with them? i'm late to this stuff and don't even have a cellphone. From reading it seems to me that Apple and MS stuff are locked down such that we'd be stuck with their games and apps. Is this so?
