OK this is properly interesting (unless it was posted before and I missed it) - last week The Escapist reviewed Alpha Centuri in its 'Good Old Reviews' feature

then this week they reviewed Colonization with the closing phrase:

Now I'm fairly sure its not Civ and OMG TAKE 2 CONFIRMED!!!11!1 time as we'd have more teaser by now so what is it? Gettysburg?

Sword of the Samurai is something I've heard tossed around quite a bit in speculation threads.

I'm pretty sure its something from Sid Meier as is Sid Meier week on there, so its definitely something from Microprose (via Tommo, presumably) but Sid doesn't seem to have been too personally involved with making this one:

My own French is similarly awful! I just found the complete mismatch entertaining. I'm in no position to level any serious criticism.

Actually the only game on the Tommo list that is prefixed with "Sid Meier's" that isn't here already is Covert Action

Actually wasn't Sid also a big flight sim guy as well as pretty much inventing 4X (although Civ was based on a board game, admittedly)? Maybe its one of the MP flight sims like a Falcon or Stealth Fighter pack or something...

So I guess its still possible, depends on how broadly The Escapist are defining the criteria for their Sid Meier month on GOR, I would label it a 'Sid Meier game' from that but he DID have a hand in it, turns out...
