This classic Sierra adventure game has been remade by Sunlight Games and released on Steam as of today. There was apparently some mixup with the release though it seems and it was pulled two hours after release?

In any case, I'm actually more interested in the classic version of the game, and would just love to see it make its way to GOG. From what I understand, the hard-copy version of the newly released game has a DRM-free version of the classic game included on the DVD. This thread is to attract possible interest from other fans to see if we can get either of GOG or Sunlight Games to notice eachother (if no attempt has been made yet).

So apparently the classic game is purchasable as DRM-Free download from Sunlight Games' website:
http://shop.sunlight-games.com/product/2

But their site doesn't exactly instill a lot of buyer's confidence. I'd much rather obtain and see the game released here, and added to the catalog of classic Sierra adventure games that GOG already has. It might also serve as a gateway for us to somehow get some of the other classic Sierra adventures that are still missing on GOG.

You can also buy a Steam-less version of the game at FireFlower Games.

Thanks for the link -- still prefer to see it released here at GOG but good to know there are some alternatives.

From the link you posted (emphasis mine):
You will get a temporary link to download the game.
The remake just looks horrible and overpriced.
Just checked out the trailer. I cannot stop laughing at how terrible the character animations and voice acting are. >_<

Spot quiz: Is this guy being sarcastic or genuine?
If they can't / don't want to release their game here, then that's all the proof I need that thess guys don't deserve my moniez.

And yes, the trailer looks utterly atrocious. Maybe they can get the original here, now that they've lowered their Steam price tag, but I'm not too hopeful. These people seem to be genuine boneheads.
