I bought IL-2 from gog yesterday only to find Steam's weekend deal to have 4 Ubi games including BG&E AND IL-2 for $10, damnit. :(
Yeah and those Ubi titles have been on Steam for months.

Eh, at least this way you actually own IL-2 now. :)
Just look at it that way.

cogadh: That's great for you, but it didn't work at all for me. It was an older LDA pad and in my research for a replacement (after my dog chewed it up), I came across multiple instances of stories of the pad not aging well, such as it randomly losing calibration mid-game, not being detected by the OS or application, disconnecting itself while still being plugged in, etc. Its entirely possible that was why PoP didn't like the pad, but I also had no problems using it with any other game at the time, so I don't know. Either way, that experience put a really bad PoP taste in my mouth, so I am very hesitant to try it again. If there is a demo, I might give that a shot, if only to see if my new gamepad will work with it.

Look in the Demo Links thread. I posted a version of PoP Sands of time..
