The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!
I would be thrilled if this is Lucas Arts and Grim Fandango is coming soon!
Correct me if I am wrong, but Grim Fandango isn't available from Steam or any of the other digital services currently?

You are correct.

Magnitus: For Lucas Art:

The star could be most of their games.

The past could be KOTOR II.

And the underworld, I have no idea.
The past is more likely to be Day of the Tentacle. Underworld could be both Afterlife and Grim Fandango.
Who published 'Big Rigs'?

Yeah, I'm guessing it's them.
Seems it's either EA or LucasArts
I'm confident this is Lucasarts
-------------------------
Past - "Day of the Tentacle" (time travel)
Star - Star Wars games ("TIE Fighter", "Dark Forces", etc)
Outlaws - Maybe "Full Throttle", but more likely "Outlaws"
Underworld - Either "Afterlife" or "Grim Fandango"
Hoperfully GOG is going to remaster the UO series, starting with UO Underworld.
It does say "new publishers" ... plural. I am hoping for EA, just because they have got a lot old pretty hard-to-get-stuff.

Kunovski: "ride with outlaws" can still mean Full Throttle ;)
No, the Wild West font fits Outlaws perfectly. Unless Full Throttle was set in the Old West, which I am positive it is not.

And yep, I think it is LA as well.
STARS - Star Wars games (TIE Fighter, X-Wing, etc), The Dig
OUTLAWS - Outlaws (obviously), Full Throttle
PAST - Day of the Tentacle (huzzah if true, never ever played that one)
UNDERWORLD - Grim Fandango or Afterlife

Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

Here's Ultima Underworld 2 boxart overlaid with the GOG promo. I still think its LucasArts though.

Someone else used this logic, so here goes:

Why would GOG.com use the word "Underworld" in the title if it WAS Ultima Underworld?! Unless...

... it was both EA *AND* LucasArts!!

GOG did say in some email, not sure I received such or not, that they were going to reveal 2 signed publishers...

BJ
It's rather curious that some of the clues can fit Ultima (Martian Dreams, Underworld) but since I haven't played any of those, I really don't know if anywhere in those games you ended up riding with outlaws or fearing your past. It's hard to tell which publisher is the red herring.
I know everyone is set on Lucas Arts...and I can't deny the possibility with the clues...but I'm still hoping Origin (could be EA testing the waters this with a smaller portion of their library)

What Game Made you Dream of the Stars - "Martian Dreams"

What Game Made You Ride with the Outlaws - Autoduel ... even Space Rogue

What Game Made You Fear Your Past - Bioforge or System Shock

What Game Made You Go To the Underworld - Ultima V or Ultima Underworld I/II

GameRager: The first was the ones who allowed Guilty Gear #2 and such to be released earlier.
Oh really? I think there might have been a second publisher OTHER than Funbox.

Mainly due to Vagabond's post on the EA on GOG.com thread:
They DID say that they signed two publishers. From the e-mail, "we’ll also be revealing the publisher behind the newest wave of games on GOG, and maybe even dropping hints on who the next big publisher we sign will be."

It's very possible EA and LucasArts both come.
BJ
After all this hype , i hope they will offer at least 4 new releases tomorrow .
