The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

cogadh: You can't take GOG's hints so literally, they are usually a bit more obscure than that.

BJWanlund: The font on that hint is rather obvious, though. It is the "Outlaws" Wild-West style font for certain. How it cannot be Outlaws is beyond me.

Makes me think of 'Desperados', which is a good game, but Outlaws was set in the west too, wasn't it? Sheesh, if they really do roll out Lucasarts on thursday, my bank account will explode.

I've hoped for LucasArts for so long, I don't dare get my hopes up. Still, even if it is them, it all depends on the lineup they are bringing this way. If they see it as an opportunity for trying to shift all the shitty Star Wars games they've made over the years, while keeping all the gems from their catalog away... Well, let's just say that "disappointment" is too mild a word for how I'd feel. However, if they truly open up their catalog to GOG... Man, they could release two games a week for at least three months, and have everybody and his cousin buy them all on release.

Hey let's try and be positive. Lucasarts might drop KOTOR as the Star Wars game and that's a big hint for Outlaws. I guess two more hints. Fingers crossed for Manic Mansion/Day of the Tentacle pack and Full Throttle :)

Lone3wolf: Think it's worth keeping an eye on the main page banner for changes? Or assume they haven't put a time-delay on and left the offices for the night, with no home-access to editing?

Personally, I say leave it until tomorrow. Must be midnight or later in Poland, now.
I wouldn't be so sure, that we left the office OR we don't have home-access to edit stuff ;) Or maybe I just logged in to mess with your minds ;p

Wow, glad you sorted that out. We all looked stupid thinking it was Lucasarts. So no new publisher then? GOG were just lying?

Yesterday Civilization, Today Desperados.
And I wouldn't be suprised to see first trilogy of Alone in the Dark.
