Well yeah, but when I tried to used it I just couldn't... Don't know why - I was not able to send any messages to a user I wanted to talk to;)

So I googled the problem an found this. Sorry if it's an inconvenience O_o

Actually - it seems I have no idea how to use the system.

I feel kind of stupid, but honestly I never even got interested in it, until now....

You just neet to click "PM" button near his/her post then write message and click "send" button. This is as easy as it looks. If you do not get any reply maybe the other user just ignore you. If you want to test this way, you can write PM to me and I'll reply you - then you will know it works.

Actually I wanted to send a message to an author of a GOGmix. That's the case.

I didn't ment sending a message to an author of a post on the forum. That is - I admit - as simple as it gets, but that's not what I wanted to do. If it's impossible I'll understand, but it would be nice for it to be possible, though.

It's not a problem it's just that the unofficial PM wasn't used by everyone so you're even less likely to get a response out of the user you're trying to contact that way. Especially considering that I doubt anyone is still checking that now.

If you're having problems with the official PM then first try making sure you've typed in the name correctly. Copy / pasting it should help ensure that. [

Or just clicking the "PM" button that's visible as you hover over a post by the user.

As far as I know there's no such feature when you're trying to contact someone who created a GOG mix (without digging through the forums hoping you'll find them there - copy / pasting is quicker).

Indeed, that could be a little more difficult. But maybe he/she also posted somewhere on forum? All you need it to find out if he/she did.
