After the update, I cannot find a way to edit my gogmixes. Are they now gone or planned in another update?
:'(
I think GOG excised them because they were quite simply useless.

The fact that I didn't even notice this kinda supports your theory.
If you have the link to the mix(es), you can find them.

http://www.gog.com/en/mix/multilinguals

Though a lot of them might be quite useless (but that's true of pretty much anything - a famous quote is "90% of everything is crap"), I believe some do have a use - such as those listing which games were available in a certain language (these exist for German, Spanish, Italian, and Brazilian Portugese as far as I know).

And you can still "like" them. Why I didn't follow yours before is beyond me however...
They were a pretty useless idea overall, to be honest. Considering the catalogue let you filter by multiple options, the vast majority of GOGMixes like 'only five star games!' or 'Best RPGs!' were utterly redundant. Add in the fact that you couldn't search for specific GOGMixes, only browse them in a seemingly random order making the ones that were useful impossible to find, and it was a more or less useless addition.

I liked the gogmixes that showed which games used the dosbox and which games worked in Wine.
Well, to be honest, I'm hopeful that the GOGwiki will replace the mixes in the long term. It's a much better and much more versatile way to list the more important information such as multilingual GOGs, Linux support for GOGs etc.

Also good examples - of course I used those that first came to mind.

The mixes are also still visible in many places - unlike the old wanted list which only had one way in beyond knowing the URL, hidden in an otherwise obsolete one-post thread few people read.

Individual game pages also display the GOGmixes to which they've been added.

Yes, "many places".

I never understood the point, to be honest. When GOG came out of beta and went "TADAAAA! GOGMixes!!!", I went "Are you fucking kidding me? That's what you've been spending your time on?"

If GOG removed the ability to edit the GOGmixes on purpose then surely it's only a matter of time before they remove them from the site altogether. Maybe gog will implement the best of the gogmixes into the website. I doubt they would test all the new releases using Wine but they may make a page for multi-lingual games and those that use dosbox/scummvm.
Really? Now you're all supporting gog for removing features from the site instead of adding them?

The gog mixes were certainly useful for some people, and it was a feature that was used often enough. To just start removing features just to be 'new' is lame and pointless.

This whole siteoverhaul has been an abortion.
