EDIT: After thinking about it, this may have just been posted in a flurry of emotion. Perhaps it just exacerbates problems on both sides of the issue. But on the other hand, GOG's position seems to be a pretty serious 180 degree switch. Even if Witcher 2 was regional by law, iirc GOG gives people gift codes to make up the difference.

You know Nokia used to do rubber shoes and car tires before getting into mobile business and becoming the biggest company for a while?

Nokia's rubber shoes and tires are still very good and sell very well. Cant say the same of mobile phones though.

Although wiki says that in between they produced cables and electricity already since 1902. Now I'm not sure GOG will live that long. A hundred year marathon for five years world domination like Nokia had...

Old Nokia mobile phones are still very good. Actually I had to change my 10 years old to 6 years old, because the older one's battery died.

If you have some who speaks german (english may work too), there's a small company that can get you batteries for almost any type of device for a fair price: http://www.akkusolar.de/
I known the website is gruesome, but my mother used to work there and they're pretty competent.
