From torrenting/pirating GOG games straight to Clive Barkers masterpiece... I'm a bit confused, does that mean it's ok to torrent "Undying"?

Only if you want to end up like Aaron Covenant.
I read HH but it was EONS ago. The thing I remember most was the cenobites honoring their end of the deal and not trying to get her in the end like they do in the movie.

Potzato: Sorry to derail ... or not .... but what happened in Germany recently ? Did gog broadcast ads on ZDF ? I have the impression there are a lot of new german users recently .....
No, iwas searching for some old DOS games, because i fell in love with that era. After playing HeXen, Heretic and DooM and Shadow warrior and....aaand...and...Duke Nukem 3D at my friends place, I needed more so i typed "Supah kewl dos game site" or something like that into the google search bar and found GOG.com... I felt like a child in a land made of teeth-killing candy. And i browsed and browsed and browsed the games and HAD TO sign up. now i have my personal wishlist I'm working on. I'm also busy telling everyone about GOG.com but those "Gamers" how they call themselves have no taste and therefore cannot identify a site full of timeless gems as such. because the games are either "too old" or "graphically not beatiful" enough. For me, DOS games and arcade games are some of the most beatiful and fun and challenging games evuh made! Even though I might not be considered as someone who belongs to the "Dos Generation" as my first computer had Windows 98 and that was when i was 6 years old. Sorry for the long response!

JudasIscariot: I've said my piece but I know my saying anything will do nothing to stop pirates. People will pirate regardless, not pointing fingers but speaking in general.

fortune_p_dawg: It makes me wince and die a bit on the inside when retarded-ass topics like this pop up on the forums.
This one isn't so bad. The one that really made me wince was that thread where there was a shitstorm because releasing DRM free games apparently represents a waiver of the right to sue people for pirating said DRM-free games.

I'm still trying to figure out on what basis being DRM free necessitates that you give up all right to enforce your rights.

When did that happen? O.o ... Kind of awkward to talk in a diffrent language to someone who apparently has the same native language but ok...

wpegg: Hopefully people will honour your wish and let this one fade away.
Don't worry. I will do my utmost best to honour his wish and let this topic fade a... aw crap.

I think if there's a single channel where broadcasting ads for GOG would have no effect it's ZDF. GOG may be largely about "old" stuff but not THAT OLD (obviously I'm referring to the age of the average ZDF audience which I suppose lies somewhere between 70 and 90).

I remember watching the superbowl on ZDF when I was way younger, am I wrong ? If I'm right , ZDF ranks in the best TV channel there is ( for the record I think it was the best US_football comments I ever heard, for enthusiastic europeans I mean)

Our generation in general watches the german version of jersey shore and other brainkillers. RTL, RTL II, SAT 1 and stuff...
