I hope you get power back on soon! When Sandy hit a while ago we lost power for a week, and had to clean out the fridge by eating icecream for lunch one day.

Glad no serious damage was done. If you did end up having to cancel I doubt anyone would seriously hold it against you.

Yup, that's right. They said that it might take a couple of days to restore power to the entire city. Time to buy some candles, I guess...

I rather enjoy candle light. It will be like a fun mini adventure, but I'm guessing having the power would be preferable.
