spindown: The German version of The Sting (Der Clou) was actually made freeware back in 2000.
Small mistake...

"Der Clou!" = "The Clue!" (published in 1994 and released as 'open source' in 2000)

"Der Clou! 2: Die Einbruchsimulation" = "The Sting!" (published in 2001 - it's not freeware and is available to buy at DotEmu and GamersGate)

You're completely right, I was confused about the translated titles. So the first one is freeware, but the second one is not.

The first game was awesome, but I would hardly consider The Sting (Der Clou 2) a classic. I thought it was pretty bad, actually.
Alright, since all the confusion has been eliminated, go for it!

Btw I already got this at gamersgate, although I didn't like that site. What do you guys prefer? dotemu or gamersgate? Of course I'd mostly prefer to have this on GOG, but since it's not very likely that they'll offer it anytime soon...
