I was just wondering since I'm new to GOG. About how often are new games added to GOG? Is one a week(as it seems since I started 2 weeks ago) the norm?

GOG.com release days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually one release for each. Sometimes they have made two releases on single day and none at another. Lately (for over a month now) they've only released one game a week on Tuesdays and done something else on Thursdays (contests and the like). Currently we just don't know the reason for one release per week. It may be that GOG is understaffed due to vacations, they are middle of negotiating another game batch, have many difficult to get working games, preparing some site update or something else that takes most of staff's time. We'll just have to wait and see.

Also birthday is very soon (August?). Maybe they want to leave beta-status on this date and announce full win7-support, which is very time intensive because of testing all the games again. Just my guess without any proof.

The only official release day is Tuesday. We've been getting Thursday releases fairly often for a while now, but it's not guaranteed.
As far as I know, there has only been one Tuesday that did not see a release.

Yep, Thursdays became secondary release days for awhile, but Tuesday seems to be the 'official' game release day for GOG.

I'm sure many people remember here that Thursday used to be announcement day. It told us what to expect for the upcoming Tuesday release. I'm glad they changed that, the upcoming tab is so much better. Now if only they'd fill it.

As far as I remember, games were released almost always on Tuesdays and Thursdays + publisher announcements on Thursday.
