I know Sierra published these versions, but I doubt they still have the rights. I thought that maybe Square-Enix has the rights to Thexder because I know they recently published a downloadable remake called Thexder Neo for the Playstation Network.

I was about to mention the company Game Arts who initially made those games and you beat me to the punch! :P Those would be great additions to the GOG library, especially their biggest game, at least in my opinion, Silpheed. Good shoot em up I might add with an amazing soundtrack.
