GOG also needs some strippers. Not some cheap tranny, the classy kinds that quote Greek poetry. And a mini bar. Filled with lots of vodka. And the strippers are serving the drinks.

honorbuddy: GOG needs to find me a job, this job search shit sucks.

Aliasalpha: Tell me about it mate. Lets each try and start a company and whoever gets there first has to employ the other one

Done and done!
GoG needs.....a haircut?

klaymen: GOG needs ponies. Lots of them.
For pony!

And those ponies must be pink! We sure need Pink Ponies!
Oh and mct601, don't worry about the lynch mob mentality :) Most of them are not serious about it ;).
My advice for you as first timer is to check the Welcome, please read! topic. I has links to FAQ, Game wishlist and other usefull topics and some general advice.
As for C&C and Red Alert series, GOG would first need to convince EA to offer it's games here. Then we might get them at some point among the thousand titles EA owns. Unfortunately EA is the hardest company to convince to offer it's old games and seem content to sit on it's mountain of licences and hoarding them like some evil dragon.
And welcome to GOG! Don't worry, most of us don't bite and I don't think any of the rest carry any life threatening diseases... I hope. ;) :P

Except maybe Weclock, but he's not contagious since he wears a gas mask all the time *shudder*.

Ah yes, infamous Weclock. :D I think he's so heavily dosed with dru... err medicine these days to consider him mostly harmless most of the time. ;)
(PS. watch the video at your own risk. I take no respossibility for any mental damage it might cause.)

Argh! You don't shoot the Wizball, you pilot it! Don't tell me you haven't played that absolute gem of a game? The C64 version, specifically.
*sigh* But you're right. Even though I'm only 32, I often feel like a grumpy old man, saying things like "kids these days", "back when I was young" and stuff like that :-(

Damn, we're the same age !! :D
I, too, am starting to do the "Back in my day.." and start telling stories of me conquering Ultima VII's weird memory configuration thing and then I realize " I AM EFFING OLD!!!"

Best Game Ever!
I'm also a cantankerous old man but I've been one since I was about 16 so the intervening 18 years have just been honing my craft (and thats not a sexual metaphor)
Ultima VII's memory issues were nothing compared to Falcon, that bastard needed something like 620KB of base memory

It was the same with Desert Strike, as I recall. 618 or 620KB, I think. It was friggin' impossible to free up that much, at least with the knowledge I had at the time.

Damn, glad I never ran that sucker in DOS. With Falcon you at least got something big and complex that made all your effort seem justified, Desert Strike was basically just a regular arcade shooter (albeit a cool one)
As a bit of a threadjack, have you got google wave Wishbone?

Nope. And don't be sorry for the threadjack. It's evolved into a discussion of old games, which is always acceptable ;-)
