Just preparing, due to mental scars. You see, on my last game I was killed by mafia on the first night for an offhand comment about wanting to protect townies, as it was interpreted as me being a doctor of some sort. Considering this is only my second game, you can see how that had quite an impact. And for the second game, I've outright stated my character's dislike of police and how I personally think they can't be trusted; it's not hard for me to picture mafia taking that as a power role claim and going for my head.

So as you can see, for this second game, instead of keeping my mouth shut and being careful on what I say that could be mistaken as a power role, I have self-proclaimed myself hero of the story so that even if I am killed I still will, because plot armor. Not to mention it's a lot more fun this way. As far as you players are concerned, I may be dead, but the deep backstory (only) in my head will still allow me to win. Even when you guys don't really get what really happened.

So yeah, bring it on mafia bastards. I'll take you all, as revenge for the dog.

While that was going on Twilightbard, Robbeasy, flubbucket, amok and CSPVG were conspicuous in that they had voted for nobody at all!

What? Oh. Yes I think that CSPVG did vote for me, but it was only very very briefly! I explained how I simply couldn't have been involved and everybody agreed with me, so he apologised and we carried on.

Oh... the day seemed to go on for another 40 hours! I had quite a headache at this point!

I would speculate (or as we colloquially refer to here.....facts) if we speak of clues, likes, dislikes after Day One we would receive some sort of penalty. Seems to me SapphicJoe left it nebulous on purpose.

DarkD13: Only thing I find suspect is his tendency to just say what others say, and not really reading argument against a case aka vote jumping, and its not really enough for me to form a scum opinion-

Nmiller: I see somewhat what Telika says, but I do find it doubtful - given that I have a feeling nmillar would often react that that way, be he town or not. More so since the most from what I saw had no mention of skiing or anything like it - would need a better argument for switching to him as a lynch. I do however find it positive that at least one person have understood my strategic reasons :)

So instead I would ask you; why not amok?

His behavior has been to get/reveal information. How can that possibly be construed as scummy??

Scummy actions are to lurk, obfuscate, withhold, confuse, ...you get the picture.

Already said this, I think. Amok's thing may be unclear (and also depend a bit on joe's interdiction), but still it'd be a role i'd expect to exist (mafia has it easy when it comes to inventing misleading clues), and I don't like this curiosity lynch ("it's weird-ish, let's lynch just to know what it is"). It's safe in terms of score, but it may also deprive town of an ability (this be a tiny mafia victory) and it has very little chances to be actualy pro-town, so much that I wonder if it's the point. Not in the sense that it'd be a scum move, but that it's be an "anti bad thing" lynch more than a "pro good thing" lynch. I don't get into that mindset. I said before, in order to vote I require to believe in scumminess.

In the previous game, something much more dramatic happened, but the logic was a bit similar : a motivator got lynched just because "hm, it's weird, let's be sure". Result "okay now we are sure", but the motivator was lynched. In that case, even if he had been mafia (unlikely for a town motivator), his ability had been identified as preciously pro-town (making him hardly a suitable first town target). I GET THIS OFF MY CHEST. But my point is, even if the situation is much lighter here (in terms of lynch score consequences and in terms of potential ability at stake) the same lynch-just-to-clarify logic is going on. I dislike lynching "just for information", when we could be attempting (even if failing) to scumhunt.

It would be a sad reluctant lynch (i might have not even participated), if amok was the only lead. But here, there is nmillar, and I firmly believe he'll flip scum at some point, I don't care much about neutral hunting in the meantime.

By that definition rolefishing is a town activity. I'm not outright accusing him of fishing, just saying that his actions have not been as obviously townie as you suggest. The information he revealed he did mostly unprompted when a bit of pressure was put on him and his information gathering has been somewhat suspicious. I don't really believe his claim either, or at least I think he's lying about part of it, possibly his win condition (by which I mean he's either scum or at least not as town aligned a neutral as he'd like us to believe).

Are you asking why I find vote jumping suspicious? It's a tactic that can be employed by scum when they're trying to get a bandwagon going. SirPrimalform used the hell out of it in the previous game. I didn't think it needed a lot of explaining.
That said, I don't think you did it that much and you had already said you wanted to vote "someone different", so you're not particularly high on my suspect list. And I've thoroughly explained why I'm voting for amok.

Also, I have a new theory. You're really the ski instructor, Bernie, who has been reincarnated as a St. Bernard, so that you can seek revenge. I have a totally scientific video that shows that this has happened many a time.

To Everyone: I'm really at a loss. While amok is the most obvious candidate, I'm still dubious about lynching him. I would much prefer to lynch someone else, but if amok is the only viable lynch nearer to the deadline, I guess I'll have to add my vote.

If it helps - I do not trust Red_Baron (as said before). I would like to get all clues, but if we do not manage to do so before the deadline, I will put my vote on him. I just want to wait 1 more day to see what happens, just in case.

Other than that, Robbeasy's clue is the first one I will be sniffing - it just do not ring true. But it is for this reason it would be great to have all clues so it is possible to compare them.

Zchinque, please tell us if hammering will bring a benefit to you only or to us aswell, if it witll be visible, that is if you'll be able to point out its effect in order to 'clear' yourself. And tell us if it is related to the affiliation of the lynched person - does a difference between a scumlynch, neutral lynch, or mislynch, make a difference on the results of you hammering.

I too would appreciate a bit more info as well. I'm not really comfortable with letting you hammer if I don't know what's going to happen.

Of course. Zchinqe, if you are town, tell us if your reason for hammering is dangerous for mafia or just some harmless thing so they don't need to worry. Don't fret we are asking for benefit of town.

From voted (and from all as well) players I see no better lynch than Red_Baron by miles. I would be quite reluctant to vote amok, but it looks like it will be going that way so maybe it would be better if you full claim.
Or is he safe? Are there people who consider voting him or not?

Of other voted players I wouldn't mind nmillar lynched.

Twilight's argument with Rob about amok's claim is silly. Beacsue Rob as town miller claimed on day 1 (totally correct thing to do according) then amok is more likely to be non-town for claiming day 1. Sure, sure.

Also about amok; If people believe his role then it's very unlikely that he is neutral. I can imagine it both as scum or town ability but I don't think meutral would have it.

There is not much time to do something better with my clue so I'll just share it. I know that Inspector Birch has brown hair, he is not using any scent and doesn't drink alcoholic beverages at all. (is teetotaller)
