I'm starting this to propose a new activity here at GOG; a Let's Play thread. What's a Let's Play, you ask? A Let's Play (or a LP for short) is a documented playthrough of a game, weather it's for information akin to an actual walkthrough, or more commonly, for humor. They come in screenshot and video format and are accompanied by a funny story or humorous commentary.
Sometimes a LP is totally author-driven and sometimes there's voting done so the audience can determine the direction of the game. For some examples, check out the Let's Play Archive (www.letsplayarchive.com) where you'll find an Oregon Trail LP featuring user voting, British super spies and the burning of entire forts. There's also a surprisingly readable, terrifyingly DARK LP called "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing".
So I'm suggesting we bring this entertainment to GOG! I've been wanting to do one for a while and I'd like to start with an SNES title. Though I'd also love to see other users crafting their own, maybe even from titles we have here at GOG, like a user-run play of Fallout or some hilarious commentary about the Prince's nightmarish romp through the trap-filled palace in Prince of Persia.
But it's up to you guys. Sound fun? Yes, no, maybe so?
