cheesetruncheon: What you Have to remember is that games that the first wave of PS2 games are coming up to 10 years old. That means that there's a generation of teenagers, and young adults whose first console, 10 years ago was a PS2. And I know for a fact a lot of people here are older, you have to remember though a younger generation is here, with different expectations. And with different titles they have a Nostalgic value for as 'Good Old Games' a term, which is completely subjective in every single way.
Yeah... well, I don't want to come to polemize too strongly on GOG boards, so I'll let the discussion dying.
Sure is that it's quite some months that I found much more interesting (and cheaper) games elsewhere.

OldOldGamer: Lately I'm a bit disappointed about the direction GOG has taken (only "newest games") and the specific games released.

Trilarion: I also still miss many of my favorite classics (Civilization, Colonization, Day of Tentacle, Alpha Centauri, Fantasy General, ...) but hope they'll still come someday.
I agree. I'm a huge Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire fan. Please keep focused on the "Old" in Good Old Games, ok GOG?

Thanks,

JD
I'd like to see a well rounded mix of games. As a community we will have varying definitions of what is old and good. Better to have some weeks where there is no game You like; than to have most of a year pass where there is nothing for someone else.
Well one of their new releases is -2 days old...
Still, while I would LOVE to see more older titles, they are a bit at the mercy of what the publishers are prepared to release. I would rather keep the weekly release schedule :)
