Kristian: The Shark is just part of the summer theme for the sale. Sharks, beaches, sun. All things more or less associated with summer and well it is a summer theme. GOG isn't planning anything, LucasArts will never come to GOG. Microsoft will never come to GOG. Take Two will never come to GOG. ZeniMax will never come to GOG. Linux will never come to GOG. Lets just enjoy the summer sale and not speculate of anything more than that. Lots of great games will be for sale at much reduced prices. That is it. It is a cause for celebration in its own right. But never expect more good thing to happen.

megarock58: CD Projekt is an exclusive distributor of Disney movies and video games in Poland, i could be wrong about this, but Lucas Arts might be on GOG.com someday.
My post was written with pessimism mode one. I find that actually expecting such things to happen leads to dissappointment. If you don't except LucasArts/Disney to sign up and they DO, then you get a good surprise!

Elmofongo: Actually Sharks do not swim that close to shore,
Bull sharks do. They even swim up rivers.
Why can't I play with the beach ball on the picture? Why can't I catch the shark? An interactive promo picture would be cool!

Zambezi sharks too. Funny, I thought they were the only ones.

*goes to check Wikipedia*

Oh, Zambezi sharks are bull sharks. That explains it.

Maybe it's a hint that Laid Back will be performing hot electro music at the next GOG conference!

This would be awesome, maybe clicking the beachball takes you to a browser based pong game

high rated
I zoomed all the way out on the GOG homepage to see if there was anything else in the background, and the results support DreadMoth's theory:

Two suns just like the planet Tatooine.

Star Wars and LucasArts double confirmed. :)

Of course. This is why I had twin puddings in my picture.
I can only say, this once more. . . the proof is pudding!
And George Lucas likes pudding.
We're certainly not planning to jump that shark...or are we?!?!?!?!?!

*dun dun DUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN*
It appeals to my sense of humor that over the weekend steam had a sale on the Witcher, then GoG has a summer sale, probly just me though
