I've noticed that some GOG installers leave two entries in Windows Control Panel. Rune Classic is one example. Also some of the Unreal games.

I wouldn't have expected that for Rune Classic, but in the case of other (classic) games, many of them require a specific registry entry to tell the game that it has been installed correctly. If you try uninstalling that, you'll probably get some error that the uninstaller couldn't be found.

The one with the GOG icon and GOG.com provider remark is the actual uninstall entry.

Your right. And theres no description in details as to what its for (name of the game aside). Windows 7 64 bit here.
yeah, some other forum member (whom I trust with the technical thingies) tends to mention that the gog installer packages are not very well made and could be improved a lot.
These duplicate uninstall entries are apparently created by Windows when Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit settings are installed with the game.
