So I'm trying to download a game I just bought via the gog downloader but it tells me that the exe. is corrupt on it even though I just finished download Omerta just fine about 15 minutes ago. I tried reinstalling the downloader but during the installation of the downloader it tells me that the file is corrupt and that I can't continue. What's going on and how do I fix this? I tried uninstalling it but it tells me it's corrupt...
Did you delete the file and try redownloading the game?
I believe re-adding the game hash checks the files fixing whatever the error may be.
So I tried downloading the game without the gog downloader and it downloaded fine but when I go to install the game it tells me that the source file is corrupt. And this is from a direct download not using the gog downloader. Note the game is Expeditions: Conquistador.

I uninstalled the gog downloader and tried installing the game again and it's worked so the issue is with the downloader near as I can tell but it's odd because I downloaded Omerta using the downloader with no issues.

But when trying to re-install the dowloader I get the message

An error occured while trying to replace the exisiting file: Deletefile Failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

even though I unintalled it and deleted all it's components... I honestly have no idea what to do anymore :/
