rail4you: Does Space Rangers 2 run flawless in win 7 64bit?
It works flawlessly on my win 7 64bit desktop computer. The old Dominators had problems with playing the intro videos on win 7, but that's fixed in Reboot.

Oh snap, they didn't charge for the expansions if you already owned it. I am hoping to see this for other games.... *cough* Ghost Recon + Rainbow Six*cough*. Kudos to GOG.com!

JMich: Have also sent a bug report a few hours back (five or six hours after the promo appeared) with a little more details on when I first encountered the bug. Not sure how fast the changes you do propagate across your servers, but I do hope it can be identified and fixed.

Mirkat: I managed to get the sale to work using FF. In IE, I got the 404 error and I could not post up comments here. Thanks GoG for this big sale!

Nevermind, used Google Chrome and it worked. But IE doesn't which is strange.
We've applied a temporary fix that should fix the issue some of you were experiencing with IE. I recommend deleting cache or refreshing the page with CTRL+F5 (to overwrite local cache)

I can now see the messages, and if this posts, I can also post with IE9. Still doesn't see me as logged in in the front page (takes too much time to show it, and if it doesn't show it after 1 minute, I guess it won't), so seems like the fix is working.

Try logging out and then relog from main page / any other page. Hopefully this should fix it.

I can't make it any clearer. I love this game. One of my best purchases in the last decade :)
Glad to see Reboot finally made it here.
Coincidentally, I took the GG version of this game from Pheace in a trade earlier this year and I have to agree with everything he says. I thought it would be a passable space-sim to while away a few hours, and it ended up being one of the best games I've ever played. I can't praise it highly enough, and anybody dithering about this purchase should get the hell in there and BUY IT.

Not really. The second game makes some minor references to SR1, but it's nothing game-breaking.

*** Never mind, lol. Just purchased it...all seems right in GOG land now ;-) Thanks for the responses guys...GOG is the BEST!


Only have IE, don't have any other browser at this time. Haven't had any problems on any other sites trying to purchase anything, so it seems to just be something with GOG unfortunately. I also noticed that a couple other functions don't work properly, like trying to list games by "title" ect. Anyway thanks for the reply, at least it's good to know it's just not me.

Destro: Glad to know it works in Chrome... no clue what's the issue with IE here - I've forwarded it to the dev team, we'll see what can be done

Zoltan999: Using Internet Explorer 9 Ver. 9.0.8112.16421 Also listed under that: Update Ver. 9.0.6 (KB2675157) My most recent Windows update was this past tuesday the 5th of June. Not sure if that update included a browser update or not, I'll try checking. Yeah, tried checking out with a different game, and the exact same thing happened. Appreciate any advice or suggestions you might have...Thanks. (Don't have a different browser at the this time to try, until now, always been fine with IE...)

Destro: As a temporary workaround, can you please try adding the game to cart in Google Chrome or Safari or Firefox? I've forwarded the issue to the dev team, but since tomorrow we have a bank holiday here, I do not know how quickly we can apply a fix...

I'm having the same problems the guy above me was having. I tried e-mailing customer service and posting in this thread yesterday, but neither of those functions was working for me either.

I still can't purchase Space Rangers 2: Reboot. This problem seems to only occur with this game. As a quick test I tried purchasing Tropico 3 and it was added to my cart without any trouble, but Space Rangers 2: Reboot is giving me the same error as before.

Have you tried Destro's recommended workaround with deleting your cache?

After several additional attempts, I was finally able to buy it, but it took several tries to get through the checkout process.

I log into GOG to find an alert that I have an update for one of the games. Confused, I don't know which one until I read this news item. Thanks GOG! No worry about regretting buying a purchase instead of waiting when buying from you! :D
