Once again, your claim is nonsensical and full of holes, but that was to be expected at this point, really.
As I said, I expect to be NK'ed tonight, if I get that far.
However, it is my only chance of winning.
At this point, I wouldn't exactly call Angelo a power role, for reasons previously discussed.
As I said, he would be the least harmful lynch that would still fulfil my win condition.

Honestly, I cannot see anyone who wants to stay alive claiming backup if they have a choice.

Not really taunting, no. It's just that I'm really tired of Rodzaju's claims by now. It's Game 8 all over again -- either he's making it up, very badly, or we're in another game with overdesigned roles. I hope the former is the case.

Seriously, what good could have come by openly admitting to being a backup, particularly a relatively powerful one?

All the time I thought I had the slightest chance of not being lynched, it made absolutely no sense to reveal this.
However, gathering votes as I was, I had to say something.

Here's an idea - how about not having revealed anything at all at first? and then if in roleclaim territory, just roleclaim backup? If your role is truly what you claim it is, it's pretty much a powered up version of a quadruple backup, combined with lyncher, combined with an informed role, combined with a sort of jack of all trades. That seems far too much to cram into one single role to my mind. I'm sorry, but I don't really buy it.

I have explained my reasoning.
I was gathering votes at an alarming rate (for a completely senseless grammar issue).
I had to do something to derail that, or I strongly believe that I would have been the lynch yesterday.
