Given were at lylo I don't get why Xyem didn't reveal this at the start of the day. Seems nearly everyone has a power role.

@Vitek Please fully claim.

NotFrenchYet: I'm really, really not sure about this. You're not allowed to tell us anything about your role under threat of (if I inferred this correctly) instant mafia win,
This is interesting, which post made you think that?
avatar
NotFrenchYet: ... Hang on. If you were so sure Muttly was scum, why did you stop bleating in order to trigger the ability?
I didn't. I stopped well before I was sure about muttly...

@pazzer: I didn't reveal it at the start of today for the same reason why I didn't reveal it D1, D2, or D4 (i.e. D3). I was trying to avoid being an obvious target to the mafia.

@NFY: Same explanation as above. I couldn't just say "I stopped bleating because it will stop the nightkill unless I'm target" because, you know, I would have been the target.
@Xyem how many mafia do you think there are?

pazzer: @Xyem how many mafia do you think there are?
I haven't seen anything to indicate it isn't three as discussed on previous days (game setup, My&Lo, LyLo etc.).

How come? Do you think there might be more/less than that?

I've always assumed there were 3 mafia. My main reason for asking was to try and get to the bottom of your claim. As if you'd though there were less mafia I could understand the timing of your claim.

But as you don't I really can't understand why you didn't claim first thing today if you're town. As you had to realise you looked suspicious after hammering Muttly with no reason given. All it would take is one wrong vote and mafia could win the game.

It was a risk, but I've been playing a risky game all the way through to try and stop myself being a mafia target at night. I was watching the thread like a hawk and I think it really paid off.

Two of the people I mentioned being mafia had voted for me. The fact that SPF unvoted me without hesitation speaks volumes and as far as I am concerned.. moves him right off my suspicions list and confirms he is town.

... that "I didn't" confused me ("whatthehell of COURSE you stopped bleating..!"), but I think I understand. You mean you'd already decided to trigger it before you became convinced about muttly, correct?

I... I might be just being a noodle again, but that second point doesn't seem an answer to the question I asked... Let me try and rephrase that...

Q: Can you explain why you said "breaking the restriction doesn't matter", when clearly it does?

You response is fair enough, but it wasn't what I asked. I'm curious as to why you specifically said "breaking the restriction doesn't matter" - because that's not true.

@SPF: Xyem's response to Pazzer in #930 is another hint I think, but the post I'm referring to came smack in the middle of the Wall of Text War ...er... here. Quoted below with italics boldified:

xyem: As though that is how you are hiding and you are projecting. But again, it's impossible to figure out if this is the case because of Joe's interference with the posts. My first thought is that this isn't the case because of the lack of other mason claims.. but true mason may be restricted from posting that they are the mason with the consequence of breaking it as instant mafia win.

Yup.

I.. don't even know how to respond to that contradiction. You said my response is fair enough, indicating that you understand it.. but if you understand it, it quite clearly answers your question...
What does your ability does?
How do you activate it?
When did you active it?
When have you decided to activate it?
Can you use it again?
What is flavour about this ability?
Who are you then?

Again, Princess is role. Anyone can be princess. In sewer mafia poop can be princess. It's not the same as sheep having nightkill-stopping ability. You are blaming Joe for nonsensical flavour but it's not true. You can find reasoning for everything Orry was but not for sheep stopping NK!

Why are you asking me to repeat things I've already explained?

Okay.. first of all, you're reading far too much into that. I was joking about the cross-dressing king. Secondly, I did come up with an "explanation" as to why the sheep can stop the nightkill which you would know if you paid attention.
Where? I read this from cell phone.
But you've already established the sheep is not a sheep...

Nnnno that's not necessarily true.

Q: Can you explain why you said "breaking the restriction doesn't matter", when clearly it does?
A: "I was trying to avoid being an obvious target to the mafia. [...] I couldn't just say "I stopped bleating because it will stop the nightkill unless I'm target" because, you know, I would have been the target."

But why did you lie and say that breaking it doesn't matter? In the post I'm referring to (#745), I asked you directly about the 'baa' thing, and you said:
avatar
xyem: Breaking the restriction itself doesn't matter at this stage but I can't do anything more than that.
Ok you couldn't say exactly what the restriction meant, I understand that. But the fact that you outright said "It doesn't matter" doesn't sit well... You went out of your way to make everyone think you're vanilla-flavoured, but in doing so you lied...

Did you get any flavour for this ability use?
avatar
NotFrenchYet: But why did you lie and say that breaking it doesn't matter?
To.
Avoid.
Being.
Night.
Killed.

It's not difficult to understand. Sheesh.
Nah, I want you to respond to all my questions even if you already answered. Please direct answers.
