You are arguing that L-1 ("Next to last vote") and the hammer ("the last") are "as good as" each other. Au contraire! Pazzer has already pointed out that the hammer voter attracts the most attention. Additionally, and perhaps more obviously, at L-1 there is still a slim chance of the target's survival; at the hammer it's all over. The fact that you believed Orry was the town cop, but were still prepared to put the final nail in his coffin, screams 'scum'. Compare this with the others, specifically rabbit (also newbie), who was "80% sure" he was town, and so did not vote. Neither did Baz, Bard or xyem.

"sparked" is the word we were all messing with - Rod interprets this as "pushing you", I tried "pressure". But either way, I can't see this sequence any other way than you following his lead. You even said yourself he "sparked" your vote. You seem to be admitting that you followed his lead, but are trying to blame him for it -

I haven't dropped my case on Primal at all, but I can't vote for both at once & my case against Primal is largely (though not entirely) based around Muttly being scum.
Therefore it makes sense to pursue Muttly first.

The statement from #765 that you quoted stems from the fact that he has been L-3 for a while now. Everyone (except Rabbit) has appeares & made comment, so had a chance to vote.
If none of the 4 I mentioned were scum, I believe he would have been hammered by now.

I am also aware that scum DO sometimes vote for each other, but they are less likely to vote each other than they are to vote a townie.
From what I have seen, this tends to be a desperation move, rather than a planned one.

I would have liked to point out that Primal agreed that Muttly looks suspicous, but didn't vote him.
Unfortunately, this falls down somewhat as several people (Yourself included) have done the same.

Hammer - The point was in the environment of the game there was little doubt Orry was getting lynched. Apparently this was thought was shared by 6 others...

Town Cop - I did not believe that Orry was the town cop, I believed it was possible he was telling the truth. At the time of my vote I believed it less. As for Rod pushing/prompting/cajoling/pressuring/leading/guiding or whatever other verb we would like to use, the point there is simple. His vote and explanation made it a given in my mind (interpret some other way if you like, thats the way I read it) that it was curtains for Orry.

For once, maybe twice if you count Orry, I agree with Rod. I am surprised we moved nowhere yesterday and apparently today.

Other than the leaning toward Orry part, yes. I was waffling throughout admittedly. Rods post (among others by the way) gave me enough confidence in moving forward with my vote. Kind of the straw that broke the camels back if you will.

It does look like at least one of Rodzaju, Vitek, Muttly and LittleRabbit is mafia. Can't really decide which as seems there's points against all of them.

Bear in mind that even if we lynch mafia today next day will be mylo again, unless failed NK (which is unlikely) so mafia can easily afford to sacrifice one of them.

Guess I just done see the mafias need to sacrifice one of their own. Given were at mylo and a no lynch would be ok for them. Also my reasons for thinking their town are similar and I don't think they over lap.

Yeah, I know it's nitpicking and it doesn't matter now but what if this happen in end of day? What if someone hammers like that and that will claim he didn't mean to or it will be vote to L-1, then someone hammers and will claim he didn't see this vote? It should be made clear if such votes counts under any cirmunstances. If there is no votecount for a long time and I check thread to make it myself I only search bolded text...

I'm back! Sorry for the absence I wouldn't quite call it a resignation though!

My thoughts are that Mutly is looking more and more suspicious the more probes are put to him, though I am willing to be lenient on the D1 softclaim thing as I believe that that was just a newbie error.

I am pretty firm about NFY being town, and most probably Rod too, from my night action conclusions and general forum behaviour.

I am less certain of Pazzer, however, I have not yet the evidence to back anything up.
As for accusing Xyem, whenever that happens we just seem to go round in circles.

I think that we need to be very careful now about votes, mislynch or die is a difficult place to be in, I suggest that the people who have voted may be slightly more suspicious than those who have not, because town should be cautious at this point in the game. No accusations though until I go back through the whole damn thread once again!
