Game 8 is my first go at this thing and I'd love to do more. I'd be more comfortable if 8 was finished before 10 starts, since I've never done two games at once and am still pretty newbie, and with work and NaNoWriMo I think my head might explode and my fingers fall off...

* Edit: I'm currently reserve for #9, but I imagine 8 will be wrapped up by the time someone drops out of 9... I think. Could I be a provisional 'yes' for the moment ?

I haven't had the chance to participate in one on these forums yet but I would definitely like to join. :)

I'll sign up, I am in mafia 9 and I've played in 3, 5, 6 and 8. I should be able to handle 2 at once.

As I know the setup, If you need a dead body for game sign me up :D

Edit - Hey I can edit without being slain!!!! I like the idea of deadlines. Keeps the game in motion. I would go so far as to say those are too long. Two weeks would be plenty in my mind.

Keeping the game moving is the main reason for having the deadlines.
However, I am aware that a number of players don't like them & some days can take a while (particularly day 1 and important days like MYLO / LYLO) so I don't want to be too restrictive. There is no reason why a day HAS to be that long. Vote early & often & you can be surprised how short a day can get!!!

OK, we now have 13 players.
3 of them want to wait for a current game to end.
If anyone else wants in, I can bump some of these to reserves to get the game going.
Or we can hang on a bit....

I don't mind either way, since I'm dead in 8, and can play two games at once, but for the sake of those who aren't dead yet and might have issues following 3 games, maybe waiting might be a good idea.

And on deadlines, I don't mind them, but Day 1 is a BITCH to deadline because of RVS, there's no telling how long it would take to naturally flow into something more serious (was going to say worthwhile, but RVS doesn't exist in a vacuum and can still reveal worthwhile info even if it takes a bit to catch it)

I'm fine with being bumped into reserve if you find someone else who wants to start right now because there's no way I could cope with 3 games at a time (I'm severely struggling with 2).

I would like to give this a try. Never played forum Mafia before but I have read up on the rules and used to play Mafia in person.

But I am a noob and it looks like you are full up, so no worries if I am too late.

If any of the "?" people end up not joining, I'll take their place. I got here a little too late :(

The 3 people marked with "?" are those that wish to wait until game 8 concludes.
If I get three others able to join now (we have 2, it seems) these 3 will be bumped to reserve & the game will start.
Otherwise the game will start as soon as #8 ends, with Crazybear & Jefequeso in reserve.

There's the quite high chance that game #8 will be over in the 'morning'. May I request that even if you find 1 extra player who wants to start right now, we wait another day for game #8 to probably end?
