Less ranty version: I paid for postal 2 complete pack, click to download it through the gog downloader. It is supposed to open and install it after it finish's downloading but it does not. So i go to C:\Users\Family\Documents\GOG.com Downloads\postal_2_complete to try running it as admin but it only crash's that window.

I am fairly computer illiterate so if you want to help me please explain it to me like I am 5, Thanks for reading and thanks for the help.

Edit again: I did not know that you could download it off gog without having to have the gog downloader in ON mode, now that I do I will see if downloading it the normal way will work.

Tried downloading it the normal way... nothing, still won't work.

Well 45 mins AFTER i tried to open it in administrator it decides to pop up with the "put in your password here" I am attempting to install it now, thank you everyone for the help i greatly appreciate it.


After some intense negotiations with my computer I was able to convince it to download it correctly, It is now working huzza!

Download it through your browser, problem solved. If that's actually the problem. You whine too much...

Have you tried contacting support?
Or posting a calm message asking for assistance?

thanks >_< I should have been more calm, I have had a rough day it it was kind of "the straw that broke the camels back" kind of thing, I will edit it to be less ranty.

Go to My Account - My Games . Then press on Postal 2, and turn "Downloader Mode" to "Off" and then download it again.

Well I downloaded it the normal way and boof nothing it does not work. I go to downloads and click it it does its verifying files BS then nothing for the next 10 mins. So i try running it as an administrator and it freezes the downloads window. Well considering in the support page it basically wants me to make sure I have every single friggen thing on my computer updated ( yeah it is my video card which makes the installer not even pop up ) I rather not sped 6 hours doing all of that :(

What specs do you have ?
