First off, I've found slightly similar problems but nothing that matches this error so sorry if this is a redundant post.
Anyways, I got the three Fallouts and with great joy began downloading them. I tried Fallout Tactics first and got all the way to 45% before my dreaded nemesis first appeared: Error 1014.
Without warning or predictability this fiend strikes. It says something about "Oops, all file transfers have been stopped. Sry :) E1014." Something to that effect anyways. Subsequent attempts have proved even less successful than the first. So now I'm trying to download Fallout 1 without success. I deal with a download speed that I'd say is on average around 9 to 15 KB/s. During the night it can spike up to 27-40 KB/s. I suppose it's possible this error occurs when the download speed drops too much but I don't think that's likely. My speed has gotten as low as 2 KB/s and kept going. At one point the download paused simply because the speed was too low. This error does seem to occur more often when the speed is down, but it's happened when the speed was in the 27-40 range as well.

Oh, and I'm deployed to Kuwait with the US Army. I prefer the digital wasteland to the real thing so any help would be appreciated.
