I have a feeling,that today's release will be a Sierra game.
That is if one's released. I'm beginning to think people shouldn't get their hopes up and we'll probably get two again this Thursday. I think they have released a game pretty late in the day before though?
Personally, I'm waiting for the second Gabriel Knight game to show up, as I remember playing it but not completing it. I finished the first one a few hours ago. I suppose the other adventure games like Phantasmagoria would be nice to try though, despite reading that it's got some low scores.
Edit: Think I'll go through some of the FMV games I have like the Tex Murphy games. Had them for a while but not cleared 'em, while waiting for anything that grabs my interest to show up. Or maybe one or two of the other adventure games on the site. Bit busy work wise though.

If there is one. It's a fair bet that it will be. After all, Sierra had far more classics than Activision.
Seems they are only planning one Activision release pr. week.
Weren't they supposed to have 15 - 20 games to release? Though some of them are in packs.
Unless they don't plan to release all of the games they've come to an agreement on this month. Just thought it would make sense and they'd try to get more for future months.
"We have started with the first batch, which is around 20 games in total, which will translate to something around 15+ SKUs, as we are putting some games into packs to offer really good value for money. "
Sierra means AVP2:Gold ^_^
Knowing GOG though it could be one of the King's Quest Series, or a massive pack of them.
City building pack pretty please.
Starts to look like GOG will miss the thuesday release this week as well. Oh well, we probably get two on thursday then. There probaly won't be week/weekend sales this month either as all Activision games are new here.

I know Sierra published the Casaer and Pharoah games but i remeber a Greek mythology spin on those city building games, was that Sierra too?
A comment I posted in the letdown thread yesterday:

It's a normal release schedule.
Although they said February is Activision month, I wouldn't be surprised if we get Activision titles at this speed till the publisher deal they're announcing in March.
Enjoy what's released so far as it's guaranteed to keep you busy for many hours.

I think Activision month will last till half March.
With the last week of January, 4 weeks of February and 2 of March, that's 14 releases at the current speed.
Close to the 15 mentioned and they can easily move in 1 or more extra releases on Tuesdays.

The series includes:
"City Building Series is the collective name of a series of historical city-building games for personal computers developed by Impressions Games, BreakAway Games, and Tilted Mill Entertainment (following Impressions' demise) and published by Sierra Entertainment and Myelin Media."
* Set in the Roman Empire:
o Caesar (1992)
o Caesar II (1995)
o Caesar III (1998)
o Caesar IV (2006)
* Set in ancient Egypt:
o Pharaoh (1999)
+ Expansion Queen of the Nile: Cleopatra (2000)
o Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile (2004)
* Set in ancient Greece:
o Master of Olympus - Zeus (2000)
+ Expansion Master of Atlantis - Poseidon (2001)
* Set in ancient China:
o Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom (2002)
Mob Rule? Eh, not what I was expecting but cool.

Zeus (and its expansion pack, Poseidon). There's also Emperor: The Rise of Middle Kingdom (Caesar in Imperial China setting).

Agreed. While I feel an addictive hunger every time a tuesday or thursday noon comes and goes without a release, I currently have, oh, about 200 games in the backlog.
I do not need new games this side of the mayan apocalypse, yet I keep purchasing them on a weekly basis.
In fact, I'm planning to go home soon to take advantage of Steam's Total War sale ...
