Thank you GOG, we love you. You are the Jessica Alba of websites, GOG is to games as Europe is to shopping, the community is to awesome as Vianna is to culture, ect. ect. ect.
Now to get me some friend chicken. God I love America ;).
155 games. Nice collection. Great job guys!
sk8ing667: friend chicken? Wouldn't that be a pet?

That depends on one's state of mind.
Fried chicken.
I wish everyone at GOG a very happy first birthday!
gratz GOG!

thread needs more Picards.
Wow. A site that actually caters to those of us with decidedly underpowered systems.
Huzza!
Can I say KICK ASS!!! ... please?
Oh wait...
Well, yeah, GoG is that, and so much more. I would like to buy more games but Fallout and Fallout 2 are burning so much of my spare time lately (so much better than I thought they would be, especially when you finally get used to the aging graphics, which I must admit wasn't easy, but I made it!).
Congrats GoG! I remember being a little unsure early on if the whole concept would have legs...I am absolutely thrilled that it has been proven that my doubts were unfounded.
It would be really cool if you guys had statistics on how many hours you didn't sleep.
Congrats GOG !!!
24 full row in my virtual shelf is a proof of my love for you :D Really a great idea, great site, great staff and great community (although i lurked all the time :P)

malrau: Interesting statistics, which numbers have to increase to cut that beta notice off of the logo? asd, still at the same point, sorry :P
And, finally, we come to know the exact number of released games, now check the number displayed in the "New to the store" frame and correct it!
gg, anyway! :D

Actually, from the 155 games in the catalogue, 2 games are coming soon, so unless they're counting toca and colin mcrae (which have been pulled out), it's "only" 153 released games. But if they're counting toca and colin mcrae, i think they are also a few other games that have been pulled out along the year, so it should be 155+ released games (ok, i'm not really sure about this last part, it was before i'm a GOGer :P)
Now, at the front page the words "see all released games (133)", that number has stop increasing coincidentally around the time colin mcrae was pulled out :D

Yes, strange coincidence, huh?

"Aging graphics", huh ? Trust me - it's really easy to change the mindset. I once had such a long period of only playing classics that *Warcraft 3* stunned me as graphically mind-blowing and modern xD...
Then again - I'm the kind of person that takes anything nice in 320x200 and above as "good graphics" ;P.
Well, again i can say thank you for the great service and gaming community that GOG.com has become. It's really my first place when i think about digital distribution for games, with no worries about DRM.
I'm hoping for greater and greater statistics in the next years. ;)
Like someone said before, it would be really nice to have, officially, games running in Linux and Mac.
Operation Flashpoint GOTY got removed too.
