xa_chan: OMG, Shadow Warrior on GOG would be an absolute INSTANT BUY !! I had so much fun back in the days!!

I would like to see all the build engine games here, and all the others 3D Realms and Apogee titles. Everyone knows and praise DN3D, but Shadow Warrior is really cool too, lots of fun with the katana and grenade launchers, and his quotes too. ;)
Help.... Not sure if it is just the amount of games in the cart or something but, they do not appear to be in the cart when I go to the payment section.... /blah guess I have two weeks maybe it's my work computer telling me I should be... working....
@"debate" up above
I think DarrkPhoenix has the point.
Also, for example, I wasn't that inclined to buy Lords of the Realm 3 even for 6 bucks, but for the new price, I bought it. Even if I don't like it, I haven't even lost 900 HUF on the deal (its normal price would be ~1200 HUF).
Plus, one can gift GOGs for Christmas for a lower price, which is nice ;-).

As I see it, you have two carts: a "normal" and a promo one (which you only see on the promo page). I also noticed I didn't have in my standard cart what I had put into my cart on the promo page.
Or do you mean you don't have it in your promo cart, as in, it gets emptied once you put too many games on it?
I think it is my work based web browser... because it works fine from my chu. Although I tried emptying out my *normal* shopping cart it seems that either that emptied my promo one to or just the fact this isp addy is different changed it...
Dang, after work I shall have to figure out what im wanting :)
Wow, looks like my games bought is about to pass the 100 mark, which is insane since i have only finished about a dozen or so. At these prices though it's hard to pass up on them.
I don't know whether to go mad on the promo and clear some of my wishlist or wait just in case something else gets released.
After months of hesitating I picked up Gothic II (which I already have in Polish, I'm really curious how the English version sounds). Thinking about getting Psychonauts, I'd get it but I blew way too much money on games in the past few months... Damn these deals are great!

Go mad. You'll get the new releases once they get their own promo ^^'.
It's tempting but I just know that something really good will get released when i've no money left. But i can always get them later, this promo is just too good.

What to buy first? There isn't enough money for everything.....AAARGH!!!
My wallet hates you guys right now -_-

Now that is an AWESOME gift. Thanks, GOG, and happy holidays to you all! Enjoy your families, get some well deserved rest, and may 2010 be a fantastic year for GOG and all its fans/customers!

Weclock: 1. You have, I've pointed it out to you before and you failed to retort.
2. I've been in video games retail.
3. There's nothing but hits on GOG.

1) Subjective. Is it possible that my calling you on the bullshit you spout out SEEMS to you to be trolling, since you bring it on yourself?
2) What does that have to do with anything? I as a consumer am more qualified than ANY retail clerk to comment on the "quality" of a particular sale. That's what capitalism is all about, theoretical economic democracy.
3) Illoigcal statement. If a game is not currently a hit, it's not a hit anymore. Steam offers sales on games which are CURRENTLY in demand. It could be argued that GOG is simply using guilt to attract game pirates to use a pay service.
*off*
@ Weclock and anjohl
why don't you discuss this in here instead of this topic?
