Hi,
now that gog sells more and more "new" games that get updates from time to time i think its time to improve the way the player gets informations about the updates.
Currently you see that game xy got a update but thats it, everything else is up to the player...
What i think would be a great improvement:
[1] Start to use the "real" game version (at least for newer games) and stop using those cryptic internal verson numbers
[2] Open a thread in every game forum that is sticky where only gog officials write about updates and how to use them (and who needs to update ect.)
[3] Add a "update history" for each game with a changelog
[4] Also inform people about updated "full installers" so they dont download the update if its not neccesary
Just some ideas, i think the current system is awful...
What do you think ?
