A while ago, the media was full of sensational "ORIGIN IS SPYING ON YOU!11" headlines, so even people who never read the EULA would have found out about it.

As for Steam -- what does that have to do with anything? By the way, yes, I do think that people who use Steam are also more likely to install Alexa than people who refuse to use Steam over privacy concerns. That's beside the point, though.

So the point is that people who have heard of a program used to spying on them and don't like the idea are more likely not to install toolbars that track them? That I accept.
The only difference though is that Origin's practice was overdone in the media (especially since it took them 2 days to change it), but it keeps getting spread as if it is still true.

It can also be that the normal Origin user may be a person who do not follow hype, but do a little research before installing software and therefore know Origin is pretty safe. By this logic, they will not have installed Alexa and there will be therefore more Origin visits then registered here. We don't know., and I would not really dare suggest either of them are more true or not.

there are not many dedicated Mac DD sites out there, so it may catch most of Mac traffic in general? It seems to provide quite a good service for Mac gamers (I don't have one so I do not really know)
