My favorite WW2 game? Tough one. To name a few ones, I greatly enjoyed the first Call of Duty,, Brothers in Arms, Medal of Honor series, Commandos, Panzer Elite Action, Silent Hunter II, etc.

Same here with the WW2 setting (mainly RTS and FPS and some sims, in my case). I have had few opportunities to play wargames, but I enjoyed the demo of Making History: The Calm & The Storm. Did you play it by chance?
No, I've never heard about it until now. I read a bit about it and it seems a nice game. I'd like to try someday. So it's like Hearts of Iron? Good to know.

I thinks Hearts of Iron could have a steeper learning curve, but "Making History" is in the same line.
