GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED.

I have two (or three, depending on whether I'll change my mind) Steam codes lying around, that need giving.

The questions are a bit tricky, in the sense that you'll have to do a bit of searching, probably 5-10 minutes (unless you know the answers by heart). The hints are good enough, not giving away everything and requiring from you to fill some gaps.

Each person can only answer ONE question, as many time as he/she wants. I'll be back in a while to check the answers.

FIRST QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED. The answer is Pelops.

Question one:

One code for Binding of Isaac (+dlc) to the first person who will give me the name of one of the ancient Greek progenitors originating from barbaric eastern lands (modern day Turkey, but I won't name the ancient kingdoms) who, legend says, migrated to Greece. The only hint I'll give, is that a few centuries after his time a dark cult was started to honor him, and nowadays a fairly big Greek island is named after him. :-)

SECOND QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED. The answer is Lynceus.

Question two:

One code for Cave Story+, to the first person who will name me two separate ancient Greek heroes (they had the same name), so there is only one correct answer.
i. The first one has many brothers, but only he survived.
ii. The second one was one of the many heroes in a crusade of sorts - legend has it he had keen eyesight. He fought along his brother and was killed in a tag team duel between brothers (same battle).

Well, these questions seem to be harder than I thought.
good idea, I don't think they are too hard (like you said some small research is all it takes) but i'm not entering since i have both games already. Thx for the giveaway!
Give them a little more time ;)
I too am not entering, but already gave you a +1 for the giveaway.
I think that the answer for 2 is Lynceus

First question: Ionians?

robb5: First question: Ionians?
Sadly no. We're looking for the name of one person, not a group of people with settlements on both sides of the Aegean.

Oh ok but can I answer again to this question later or I am not allowed anymore?

Yes, you can.
Bump.
Cephalus?

CthuluIsSpy: Cephalus?
No mate, sorry. :-(

I understand it's a bit hard. The real hint is the "island" part, but some basic geography of modern Greece can really solve the riddle (I can't be clearer than that though, sorry).

Oh, another hint: He appears as himself, in one of the games currently on GOG. :-D
