Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Years ago, I got a copy of this game off a discount bin for my xbox.. The aging xbox died soon after I aquired the game.. So I never get the chance to complete the game.. Maybe now's a good to give it another go..
Count me in. Thanks and +1 for your generosity, K_1269!

Also, a little promotion in the giveaways' listing thread:

I would like to enter for The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav

Let me quote myself from another thread:

"I'm a sucker for adventures since early childhood. I started playing text adventures, and later I fell instantly in love with the first point-and-click adventures. I've been able to play most of those produced by LucasArts (who at that time was Lucasfilm) and quite a few of Sierra..."

I just checked the gamecard of this adventure and the art is really awesome. As the reviews about the game are very promising, the choice had been a no-brainer for me! :)

I forgive you for your grave sin, my son...

... just kidding. You're very welcome! ;)
1 x The Bard's Tale (Steam)

Heard many good about the series but i never get the chance to try and play.
count me in for:
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (GOG) as well

i think id like it because ive been on a good beat streak on point and click adventure games, the graphics look pretty pretty pretty good, and i cant wait to play the scene with the fool drowning my PC in the animal trough when i have a perfectly good hammer within reach ready to beat that fool down. Somehow im sure it will be more complex than im imagining it, but its going to be a while til i find out (itll have to go on a super duper sale or something). i loved the King's Quest series, and more recently the Wadjet Eye Games so this would be right up my alley.

thanks for hosting a giveaway!
+1
I'd like to enter for Bard's Tale, please. I hear it's pretty funny and well-written, and I like humor in my games!
I would like to enter for Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood. I love the Commandos series and we all have grown whith Robin.

Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm in for KOTOR, thank you.

I played it for the first time when it came out and even though I was sceptical about the implementation of the D&D rules into the StarWars setting, the game ended up very good. I liked the overall plot and characters (HK-47 and Jolee were great). I think the time may be right for a 2nd playthrough.

Also lightsabers :)
im not picking 2 games....
figured id give out 2 options in case the other is taken...

STAR WARS®: Knights of the Old Republic™ I (Steam)

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic- I love Star Wars. My first computer game was Dark Forces. I dug every second of it. Ive unfortunately, never played this one. Ive heard nothing but high regard & acclaim for it. I like the idea that it has RPG qualities in it. Big fan of RPGs.

thanks for the giveaway

Thank you for telling me why you would like these games, but I'm afraid you are going to have to choose one if you want to participate.

Btw.: One of the reasons why I ask people to make a choice is that it should give everybody better odds to win the game they want the most, another being that I'm very big on rpgs and in good rpgs you have to make choices (my first giveaway was for rpgs, so that's where I came up with the idea).
I think I'll enter for The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav.

To be honest, I had not heard of the game before and when everyone was listing it as their game to win, I looked it up. It looks like an old school adventure game which reminds me of the good ole Sierra adventures. I have fond memories of Sierra adventure games and a game that makes me re-live those is definitely something worth playing.

Thanks K_1269!
I would also like to enter for The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav. I quite liked the setting in Realms of Arkania & Drakensang, and I would love to see more of it. Plus I quite like the art style in the game, and I love adventure games.
Another one for Dark Eye!

I've had my own eye own this game for a while now. First I was interested because it was set into the same universe as the Drakensang saga, then I heard it was an adventure game and I'm always in lookout for those. Then I saw the art and got even more intrigued, and the final nail was reading the reviews. I voted for this game for GOG ages ago and have been waiting for it a while now. I was so surprised to see it added to the catalog because my GOG wishes don't have a tendency to come true. So, I've been wanting this game since the first previews, quite a while.
Thank you all for your great responses, I really enjoyed them and you made it very hard for me to pick a winner. If you do not win, stay tuned anyway, as there is a second part to this giveaway ( I thought it be much more fun to make it a suprise ;p). Once all the winners have received their gifts I will post more details.

Will list the winners shortly...

...here they are:

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (GOG) - johnki
Resonance (GOG) - DCT
Return to Mysterious Island (GOG) - Theta_Sigma & psicat
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood (GOG) - voldart & klaattu
Cultures (GamersGate) - Ian
Secret Files: Tunguska (GamersGate) - Licurg & Azilut
STAR WARS®: Knights of the Old Republic™ I (Steam) - te_lanus
The Bard's Tale (Steam) - TheSupremeForce & Hardrada (realised I had 2 copies in my steam inventory, yeah!!!)

Congratulations to you all!

(Ok, I have to admit that I had some help from random.org to pick some winners as is was next to impossible to fairly pick the winners for some games otherwise.)

To all the winners, please check your PMs and get back to me with the required details if you won a steamgame. Also, please let me know once you received your gifts.

To all those of you that did not win this time, check back here sometime later as there will be a special 2nd giveaway (same thread) just for you ;)
