Is it possible to gift a game I have already bought and is sitting on my Game Shelf but I have never downloaded it or used it?

Reason being they were a bit of an impulse buy and I haven't got the spec of machine needed to run them and an internet download limit that would take me 2 months to get them! X)

thanks

Generally no... but you could always write a letter to support and ask. They will say yes or no :)

I'm afraid that we can only offer replacements for games that have been purchased no more than a week before a replacement request is made. :(

Oh well looks like I'll be the happy owner of Witcher and Witcher2 and never actually play them!

Its a shame but I suppose its my own fault, thanks.

Can't you get anyone else to download them for you? Who knows, maybe one day you'll have a more powerful rig that will be able to run the games?

I suppose I could, could even download it at work...but at the end of the day I probably wont even play them.

One thing I've learnt whilst at GOG - don't buy everything, no matter how good they make it sound! - but Im too weak and feable to resist...damn you GOG!!!!!

Just thought it would have been nice for a fellow GOGer to benifit from my stupidity! :)

Or buy everything as a gift. That way you can keep it (redeem the gift code yourself) or give it away / trade it (give the code to someone else), as you see fit.

Thats a great idea, although I think its lesson learnt and I wont be buying things on impulse anymore.

In fact I read something on these very forums that Im now trying to stick to:

"If you don't intend to play the game within the next 7 days - dont buy it...it will only be cheaper when you do!"

:)
