It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Gremmi: Yep, just managed to sort it by manually browsing the UK website instead of the US one. Thanks for the tip! :)
Did you get it then? If so I hope you enjoy it. I wish Vogel would update the resolution settings though(it only runs in 800x600, either by changing your screen res while it plays or leaving your res alone and running the game in a small box surrounded by black.)
Yep, managed to snag it just in time! The resolution shouldn't bother me, as most of my lo-fi gaming is done on a netbook anyway.

Lexor: Maybe I would but so NO WAI!

GameRager: It can be played without steam running straight from where it gets installed(steamapps/common/geneforge).
It does not matter. I do not have Steam nor plan to install it in future.

GameRager: So many broke ass n**as on here it seems. Beg or borrow just get this people. It's THAT worthwhile a purchase. It's a good series and with 5 games it's gonna last you forever.
Haven't you heard? There is a spectre haunting Europe and it's called the Economic Crisis.

Also, I'd rather pay extra to NOT use Steam while playing a game. I can always just add it later to my Steam profile :P

Scroll down to find pages for Geneforge Mac or Windows. Each version has its own sale on its page and also a demo download; though the prices through them are far higher than if you get the all in one bundle on steam - however they do sell an all in one CD bundle on their own site,
I didn't get Geneforge, but I did pick up Avadon. That counts, right?

GameRager: The one faction that likes to be slaves seems retarded tho, IMO. (An aside to White mainly)
Not really, they are one of the more interesting ones. The Shapers created them (not a spoiler to anyone, you get this in the intro bits) to be slaves but their masters just going poof caused issues. Slaves have never had free-will so it makes sense that they can't really cope.

Instead of trying to adjust like the other two factions they simply do what they think their masters would have wanted, which makes it easier for them to deal with the fact that they were more or less abandoned without admitting it.
