Was meinst du? Deutsche Unterforen, oder deutsche Versionen der verfügbaren Spiele hier?
Ersteres: Wenn du schon englisch bisschen kannst, siehs als Chance zu lernen ;)
Letzteres: Ich bin ziemlich dagegen hier auch deutsche Versionen der Spiele anzubieten, da ich vor allem deswegen hier bin um endlich die Originalversionen von Spielen zu bekommen die in Deutschland nur geschnitten rauskamen.

What do you mean? A german section in the forum, or german versions of the available games?
The former: you will get used to it, see the forums as a chance to learn ;)
The latter: I'm strongly against german versions, since one of the reasons I think gog.com is great, is that I finally can grab all the original games which were only sold as cut versions in germany.

Ja es ist kein Problem hier nur in Englisch zu lesen, trotzdem fände ich es nicht schlecht wenn es auch deutsche Unterforen gäbe.
Die Spiele können natürlich weiterhin in englischer Version bleiben! :D

I could understand German sub-forums if Germans would be a great money-contributing factor (read: a great consumer base). Even then, most should be/are able to read/write English well enough.
This shouldn't become another version of German Holidays, where everyone expects the host to speak German.
As a German I'm firmly against even a part-germanization of the site. Or ANY site on the 'net, actually.

Quite a lot of people who type English where it is not their primary language, do so better than those who have it as a primary language. Let's face it, internet makes us a little lazy :)
If you [they,them,whoever] make the effort, people will appreciate it and help out.
Bablefish can be a little wonky, but it does the job well enough, and if you can keep it short, post a version in your own language as well.
The only major downside I see to having multiple language areas, is the need for staff support in those areas (and the community missing out, if a solution is posted in non-English).
Also: The fact, you yourself may miss out on the larger community itself if you stay in your own area.

As I tell all my friends, I have enough trouble with English.
The joke kind of loses it's impact though when you all don't actually know that I'm a native English speaker :p

I agree that GOG should probably stay the way it is. If there were sub-forums for several different languages it might just get too cluttered, I guess. Also, like the others said, as long as others are able to understand what you want to express, it's alright. So far the community here seemed to be very generous :)
Und selbst wenn es mit dem Englischen doch mal nicht klappt, dann ist es sicher auch in Ordnung, wenn man auf Deutsch schreibt. Offenbar gibts hier ja auch nicht zu wenige hilfsbereite Deutsche :)

I would like seeing games in different languages, as long as you can always choose which version you want.
No mandatory "buy in your language" or "buy cut version" and so, but for people who don't mind it, or who want it in their language.. and it's not like every game is cut like hell.
So i totally support the idea of adding games in several languages (all available?), but with free choice.
About subforums.. i don't think thats necessary.

many games have patches or mods where you can change the language, in fallout you can actually change the language by editing one of the files and telling it to use french (although I haven't tested this theory).
offering games in other languages isn't necessary because of the above.
also, seeing as the EULA for the games, says you specifically cannot translate them, I don't see it coming any time soon.
