Quantum entanglement shooty action engage!

Fractured Soul, a classics-inspired action platformer challenging you to play simultaneously across two realities for an enthralling arcade experience, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $3.99 for 24 hours!

We all exist in a universe that we understand only to a small extent. Philosophers, scholars, and finally scientist devote their lives to uncovering the inner workings of reality, but what we know is just a small fraction of the big picture, and what we understand is just a small portion of what we know. Physicists theorize the existence of different reality planes, parallel to our own. They also manage to catch a glimpse sometimes of incredible quantum mechanics that govern the way the universe works. In theory the same bit of matter cannot occupy two places at the same time, right? But may it shift across dimensions instantly? What about energy? What about consciousness? Can realities overlap one another? In this game--yes, they can. In our world? We're yet to find out.

Fractured Soul puts you in control of the entity--one soul stretched across two dimensions, each of them quite similar, but not the same. Double the information input, double the effort to process it, double the fun from overcoming the challenges. Your character is able to shift between two worlds in an instant, but it's up to you to take in what's happening in both of them at any given time, to make sure your use of that ability leads to optimal results. Hardcore bonus challenge levels are unlocked through 5 star performances in the main game. You can also take on the challenge of Fractured Soul with a friend, in local co-op mode. The game comes bundled with a full soundtrack, both in MP3 and FLAC format.

Give your brain an excercise in multi-tasking with the devious arcade mindgame that is Fractured Soul, for only $3.99 on GOG.com. The 60% off Gem Promo discount offer lasts until Thursday, May 22, at 9:59AM GMT.

IAmSinistar: And check with GOG on their commission policy. ;)
Heaven forbid! It's my pleasure to share honest opinions on games! And getting paid for this would kill the fun.

And the other factor, heh, heh, when I'm doing it for free I can't be sued for that, can I? ;P

Anyway, I'm glad you bought the game :) It seems to be really nice. I'll give you a little hint: in shmup part getting hit by a projectile decreases your health but a collision with an enemy ship will kill you instantly. So if you can't avoid being hit choose a projectile ;)
Bought :)

Can't wait to play this with my wife! She'll LOVE it!

Thanks for the promo!
Naturally curious to see what tomorrow will bring. If it is indeed Tycoon City: New York, I won't whine, but I will post yet again about how Activision, Ubisoft, and other big publishers seem to have forgotten GOG and that feels strange to me because of how far they have come. (Or maybe that counts as whining, but it will happen)

So hopefully it will be a game with a few hundred wishlist votes at least. Emperor: ROTMK or a Caesar game would be "right-out-of-left-field" fantastic because we haven't seen an Activi game in a snog's age.

I hope the game is not going to be in the gogs half year most released categories: adventure, rpg and platformer. Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom or Caesar 4 would be fabolous or at least a game with hundreds if not thousands of votes. I don't think Activision or Ubisoft have forgotten gog. I think the games released depend on TeTs quality check as explained in the TwitchTV stream.

And so the game is beaten :) Maybe a bit short but I enjoyed every second I spent on it. And there is always a hard mode and bonus levels, but I'll take care of them another time. If you like platformer games then it's a good choice!

Seems it already did. ;)

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing additional titles from said publishers.

IAmSinistar: Hmm, you may have made a sale. Thanks! And check with GOG on their commission policy. ;)

EDIT: And bought. I am so weak. :D
Seconded.

What is wrong with me? Spend so much on the insomnia promo and this still tickle my collector itch?
