It's been a while since my last visit and I've noticed that a few nasty things happened here. But I'm sure the community can cope with it. I've met a lot of amazing people here so I don't believe some a**holes can ruin this.

I still have some of the original Garfield books at my parents' home. I used to reread those all the time as a kid and laugh my butt off. Garfield always looked so comfortable in his little box bed, under that cover. I'm looking through these old comics and remembering the images, but the printed books were black/white so the color is new to me.

Anyway, I couldn't find my two favorites (one with a car accident where a guy punches someone else, and Garfield is watching from his window and makes a clever social commentary; or, one where a nice old lady tries to pet Garfield and calls him cute - he growls at her, she says, "Why, you vicious brute!" then Garfield says, "What happened to cute?")
