Martek: Do I understand correctly that a Gaming Grid account is still being auto-created without the involvement of the person for whom the account is for, but that now the emails announcing that won't be going out?

Apogee1: No accounts will be created without the user creating one.
Thank you for that clarification. :)
I got pretty stressed out when I saw this random email pop up today. Thanks for clearing things up.
The same happened to me today and got me really worried. I even wanted to reply back, in a not too friendly tone (since I thought t would be something very shady), before I found this thread. I'm glad that everything seems to be alright and it was just a mistake.
Bu bye Apogee.

This business model stinks and I will not be a part of it.
Further, I will buy absolutely nothing you offer in the future.

I never created an account - this is a lie.

Apogee Software, My account was auto-created without my permission when GamingGrids.com v2 was launched based on my in-game account with my real name and email address used in the game. I purchased the game on Steam and the developer El Oshcuro on the Steam forum said that Gaming Grids will only be integrated with the shareware version of the game.
