Hey everyone...
It's me again. ^_^

I was looking through my GoG list and noticed I haven't installed half of them yet. Mind you, I've played 90% of them at a different time though. For example, I bought Sim City 2000 SE the other day, but I will probably never install it. Probably because I've played it to death years and years ago when I first got the game.

So my question is this: Have you bought games here at GoG or from another place, but never install it? If so, why not and do you think you will install it in the future?

Never happened to me, since as soon as I buy a game (here on GOG or anywhere else) I install it.

Playing it is another matter... ^_^
Hmm.. the only game I got that I never installed was Return to Krondor, wanted to but kept getting sidetracked with other games..
I bought The Temple of Elemental Evil, Icewind Dale, and Icewind Dale II together during a promo a while ago but I haven't installed any of them. I also haven't installed Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games. I should probably get around to trying that out. Other than that my GOG catalog has been played/installed at least once (though stuff hasn't been beaten - turns out I'm terrible at Tryian2000).
I bought The Witcher and The Witcher 2....

It would take me 3 months to download them and I cant even play them on my spec machine.

Im an idiot! X)

If only I could give them away to someone less useless than me!....

Ouch, that sucks. Maybe you can get a friend (who has a better internet connection) download them and put them on CDs/DVDs for you and then you can at least have them ready when you eventually get a better computer.

Thats probably what I will have to do, but I dont upgrade my computer that often - thats what brought me to GOG in the first place :)
From GOG that would be: Return to Krondor, Soulbringer, Realms of the Haunting, Stonekeep, Messiah, Normality, Castles 1 (but I did play through 2), M.A.X. 1-2 , Lionheart, Conquest of the New World, Panzer Elite & the two Darkfall games.
I fully intend to play all of those at some point (possibly not castles 1, we will have to see about that). I just need to be in the right mood to play specific games.

A few, but mostly because they're more or less part of a series and I want to finish their predecessors first (Broken Sword 2 & 3, Still Life, Tex Murphy: Pandora Directive, Fallout 2, Betrayal in Antara).

Also the Quest for Glory series because I'd like to play them with ScummVM rather than DOSBox and didn't come around yet to installing the new version of it over my old one (does anyone know how to update ScummVM without completely reinstalling and deleting your previous installation and setup?).

And Resonance, for obvious reasons. ;)
Nooooooooooo, don't make me list them all; I have far too many games I've never installed D:
I've a number I've not installed yet. However, I do plan to eventually, as I don't buy games that I don't intend to play.

Leroux: And Resonance, for obvious reasons. ;)
I have a huge backlog of games that I've bought on sale and never installed/played, but Resonance is NOT one of them. Hehe.
Most of my 200+ library.... -_-

(I have played quite a few though. (Not completed any sadly :())
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Not that I've never got around to it. I cannot install it - literally cannot install it. The DRM refuses to activate using a German IP, and I'm very loath to use Hotspot Shield.
Well I bought disc versions of Fallout 1/2 and Torment/Soulbringer double jewel cases in the early 2000s and Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 a couple years back at Fry's. Played Torment for a bit but never finished it due to switching computers, but never really intended to ever play Soulbringer (though I've been considering it now). And I finally got around to installing FO1 in 2008-2009 (because I wanted to play at least one of the older games before starting into FO3, particularly when the first is pretty short and I thought I could get through it quickly), but then my laptop got hit with a virus and I thought I lost my save and didn't want to start over, but I was able to salvage my old file and finished it back in February this year (and then GOG gave away a free copy after I was done with it lol).

The worst case probably was FO3 for the 360 though. I bought it full price shortly after it came out (well, during a buy one get one half off sale at TRU with the Last Remnant), but never started it. Then when the GotY edition came out I picked it up for 40 bucks when it was on sale and never plaed it. Though I guess it isn't all that bad, as one of my cousins played through a pretty good chunk of the main storyline of vanilla on my system, then I gave my vanilla copy to a different cousin after she got a 360 since she was enjoying New Vegas and only had ME1 and 2 and NV. And well, since I loved TLR and didn't mind paying full price for it, it's more or less the same as paying 70 bucks (30+40) for the GotY when it came out.

Though the thing about falling behind on PC games is that I don't really have a powerful system or a lot of harddrive space, so I really can only have one big game and some small games installed at a time. And if I'm on the computer then I probably just end up pissing around on the internet all evening.
