A 14 hour marathon of Morrowind back when I started playing it. I played that game for 100s of hours and it was just so much fun. Best TES game ever made!
oblivion and skyrim, they just hook you for some reason and doesnt let go

Enebias: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. I think that game is still the best 4X ever created: 7 believable factions with solid ideologies behind them, a wise use of both in-game characters and real human literature quotations, technological trees based on hard science, always changing maps and AI strategy (once they tried to drown my cities by melting the polar caps! They increased the sea level by 333 meters! THAT'S MONSTROUS!), terraforming, customizeable units, advancend city and economics management and an unmatched replay value. Sometimes it really made me think of how hard could be to run a country, given all the unpredictable events and reactions. Plus, you can play as the ultimate fascist-communist immortal leader: how could you ask for more? ;)
The problem with Alpha Centauri is the enduring disappointment it creates for me over every other similar game i have played year after year that fail to improve on it. And this is despite the fact that games are supposedly supposed to improve over time.... Bah humbug!

I mean, what is it going to take, it's been 14 years already and I'm still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ixamyakxim: Oh wow I've been eagerly awaiting Wasteland for a long time now... is there an open beta I don't know about? Or is a backer beta / test phase? If so any word on when they're going to release (I've been keeping my fingers crossed every month since Sept / Oct). Thanks!
I'm on the backer beta, but I believe Steam has the preorder Open Beta up as well. Though, I don't think you can purchase the finished product through GOG if you do the Steam open Beta. There's a big stink on Steam, because it's expensive and not a finished product.

If you have a question, you can post here and usually BrotherNone will answer it for you if he has time or of course the Wasteland 2 forums.

Morrowind for its big open world, superb main storyline, and massive catalog of readable in-game lore. And, Deus Ex for its blend of RPG and FPS gameplay and its conspiracy-theory-smorgasbord plot.
The first time I played Half Life, I think I stayed up for almost 3 days straight playing it.
Jagged Alliance 2 caused me to have turn-based dreams. Enough said.
Divinity 2: Developer's Cut is a game I've been really into lately, it's definitely not a perfect game and it has several weak points, but overall it's a great game. However I've just given up on it as it's become unplayable for me difficulty wise. The game was always difficult (in a good way) but it's now unplayable more or less because I didn't find and complete each and every sidequest possible. I did have a lot fun with most of the game though.

I'm getting ready to do another playthrough of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. This game is proof that outstanding writing, excellent atmosphere and strong well developed characters can carry a game that isn't especially special on it's gameplay merits alone.
